Vibe Coding Africa ("VCA", "we", "us") operates the platform at vibecoding.africa. We teach children aged 9–16 to build apps using AI tools. Our registered business is based in Ghana.

2. Information We Collect

From parents/guardians:

Name and email address (account creation)
Phone number (optional, for SMS notifications)
Payment information (processed securely by Paystack — we never store card details)

From children (with parental consent):

First name and age
Username (system-generated, not their real name)
Course progress, quiz scores, and project submissions

3. How We Use This Information

Deliver and personalise your child's learning experience
Send progress updates and certificates to parents
Process payments and manage subscriptions
Send occasional platform updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)
Improve our courses using aggregated, anonymised data

We never sell personal data to third parties.

4. Children's Privacy

VCA is designed for children aged 9–16. We take children's privacy seriously:

Children's accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian
We collect only the minimum information needed for learning
Children's profiles use system-generated usernames, not real names
We do not display children's personal information publicly
Showcase projects display the child's first name and course only
Parents can request deletion of their child's data at any time

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use:

Session cookie — keeps you logged in (httpOnly, secure, expires in 30 days)
Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymous traffic analysis; no personal data shared
Meta Pixel — measures ad effectiveness; we do not retarget children

6. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on servers in the EU/US with encryption at rest and in transit (HTTPS)
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we cannot read your password
Payment processing is handled by Paystack (PCI-DSS compliant)
We conduct regular security reviews

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you or your child
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Withdraw consent at any time
